Owner, Angel Parets has been a pillar of the Miami Beach Community, being the oldest established collateral lender and estate jeweler in Miami Beach. He continues a family legacy rooted in achievement and integrity who proudly called Miami Beach home, since his arrival to the city in 1965. His mother Bianca Parets was a pillar of the community and a trailblazing banker for over five decades and remains as one of the most influential supporters of the beach; contributing to the economic growth of SoBe.

Angel Parets is widely regarded as a highly knowledgeable, personable, and generous individual whose character, professionalism, and integrity have endeared him to all whom had the pleasure of knowing him. As the Parets chapter of Costa de Oro Jewelry and Pawn Shop came to a close with its recent sale, the City of Miami Beach wished to recognize and celebrate his legacy. 

Now therefore, the mayor and commissioners of the City of Miami Beach hereby proclaimed June 18th, 2025, as “Angel Parets Day”.
